Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next, off every other weekend)

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Laminator Operator I to support high-quality production operations in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will operate laminating equipment, ensure product specifications are met, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in line with SQF and company requirements.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with machine operator or production experience looking to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate laminating equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures
  • Mix adhesives based on established formulas and verify calculations for each production run
  • Perform first-piece inspection to ensure compliance with product specifications
  • Set up and operate lathe machines when required
  • Read and interpret job orders accurately
  • Load and manage substrates, raw material rolls, and adhesive application during production
  • Verify, cut, or resurface impression rollers to the required specifications
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in compliance with SQF and safety standards
  • Handle and manage hazardous waste using approved procedures and satellite containers
  • Report quality issues, food safety concerns, unsafe conditions, and incidents immediately
  • Support machine operation during break coverage and assist with production continuity
  • Participate in audits, safety initiatives, near-miss reporting, and continuous improvement activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of machine operator or manufacturing experience (laminator experience preferred but not required)
  • Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Experience working with chemicals or adhesives in a production environment
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing setting that may involve dust, noise, or industrial materials
  • Strong attendance record and commitment to safety and quality standards
