Food Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor – Ponca City, OK | Food Manufacturing

Shift: 1st (7AM–5PM) or 2nd (4PM–1AM), M–F, plus weekend/OT as needed
Salary: $62K–$75K + up to 14% bonus potential

About the Role:

We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead our processing floor in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will oversee hourly associates, ensure food safety, quality, and production goals, and drive efficiency and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead daily production activities to meet schedules and targets.
• Monitor quality checks to ensure food safety and product standards.
• Manage risk and plant safety, protecting employees and minimizing organizational exposure.
• Coach, train, and develop hourly staff to improve performance and engagement.
• Support process improvements, product development, and operational initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Superintendent on training plans and goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years progressive supervisory experience in production or manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.
• Proven leadership in managing hourly teams of 10+ associates.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, quality standards, and production processes.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make sound decisions.

Preferred:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in process improvement or product development.
• Demonstrated success in employee engagement and labor relations.

Work Environment:

• Loud, fast-paced production floor with strong smells.
• Work in refrigerated and freezer environments with variable temperatures.
• Some exposure to hot areas on the production line.
