Delivery Manager (Technology Transformation)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Delivery Manager to support a major transformation initiative within a global re/insurance group. This role will play a critical part in the planning and execution of the exit of several regional business units from the wider organization, with a particular focus on ensuring a smooth transition of all Technology-related components. The position is a temporary backfill to support business continuity during a period of significant change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate Technology workstreams related to the sale or run-off of business units.

  • Ensure that all aspects of people, processes, systems, and regulatory requirements are considered and managed effectively.

  • Support transition planning and the implementation of post-sale support agreements with third parties.

  • Maintain operational stability while enabling strategic transformation and exit preparation.

  • Collaborate closely with a small, distributed team across multiple European locations.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and project teams to drive progress and align priorities.

Program Context:
The transformation program commenced in mid-2024 and will continue through 2026. The role requires strong delivery management experience and the ability to balance day-to-day execution with longer-term strategic goals in a complex and evolving environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven delivery management experience (minimum 3 years) in technology-driven projects or transformations.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and communicative working style.

  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

  • Experience working in distributed or cross-border teams is a plus.

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
