We are currently seeking a remote Independent (Contract) Recruiter. 

Job Title: Freelance Consultant/Independent Recruiter

Salary: 100% Commission Based Salary, you're in control of your salary

Schedule: You write your own hours

Experience: No training will be provided. Some Recruiting experience. External/Agency Recruiting Experience Preferred. Experience as an Independent contractor or Freelance Consultant is preferred.

Location: Remote Nationwide, you must be located in the US

Sponsorship: No Sponsorship is available

Citizenship: US Citizens or Green Card Holders Only

Beola Le'Shaun Consulting is looking for a recruiter with both in-depth and industry-specific knowledge to join our growing company. The successful candidate will be personally responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in high-level positions. The right individual will be capable of analyzing resumes, setting up interviews with candidates, and conducting interviews (Phone & Video). The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience, however, a strong interest in the field is also highly desired.


About you:

  • You are an independent (freelance) recruiter or a small recruiting firm
  • You are someone who can align with the company cultures of BLC
  • You are professional
  • You are experienced as an agency recruiter (external recruiter) or own/owned a recruiting agency
  • You are a self-starter
  • You are a person with a solid understanding of Tech (high, medium & low), Engineering, and other industries we recruit for
  • You are experienced (documented on your resume and verified by job references) in recruiting. A generalist is best i.e. IT, Engineering, Industrial, etc
  • You are comfortable working 100% commission-based salary - 1099 only
  • You are looking for a flexible work schedule
  • You are committed to working on the requisitions in a timely manner
  • You are ok with being provided with jobs that are available to BLC
  • You are the one that will source, screen, interview, and select potential candidates to present to BLC
  • You are detailed orientated

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze job requirements; Identify client's needs
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of job requisitions
  • Implement sourcing strategies and identify potential candidates (or Search for talent)
  • Communicate with candidates and understand their skills and interests
  • Coordinate interviews (phone and video) in different time zones across the globe
  • Collaborate with BLC TA team to continually improve processes and experiences
  • Act as the liaison/advocate for Candidates
  • Provide regular progress updates to BLC TA team
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when dealing with candidates
  • Digitally screen resumes and other avenues to search for the best candidates
  • Follow up with candidates to determine their interest in the position
  • Be able to communicate effectively with candidates
  • Regularly communicate candidate information with BLC TA Team
  • Attend (Phone and online meetings) update meetings
  • Expansive Search Skills
  • Writing thorough, clear, and concise synopsis of candidate's screenings, interviews
  • Work-Life balance. You will with your own schedule.

What You'll need to do!

  • You are responsible for providing your own tools and technology to recruit the candidates.
  • There will be no cold calling for clients.
  • You will be provided with Job Requisitions.
  • No business development or sales.
  • You will provide candidates using whatever tools you use.
  • Once you have identified the perfect candidates, you will submit and we (BLC) shortlist the candidates based on their resumes and additional findings from your phone/video interview/screens.

Commission-Based Pay


Your pay will be at least a 10% Split of the commission (minus expenses, tools, technology, taxes, general business expenses, etc.) for the candidates that are placed with our clients. We do not pay for your expenses.



Payout examples are as follows: 


Contract Roles

10% split of the commission (you'll receive 10% of the total commission) for the terms of the contract paid monthly after BLC receives funds from the client (after expenses, tools, technology, insurance, taxes, general business expenses, etc)

  • Example. If a candidate is hired and starts March 2023, you will be paid in approximately 40 days (30 days after the candidate has been employed and their pay is processed) Plus around 10 days (more or less) once the payment clears.

Direct Hire Roles

10% split of the commission (you'll receive 10% of the total commission) for the terms of the contract paid monthly after BLC receives funds from the client (after expenses, tools, technology, insurance, taxes, general business expenses, etc)

  • Example. If a candidate is hired and starts March 2023, you will be paid in approximately 100 days (90 days after the candidate has been employed and their pay is processed) Plus around 10 days (more or less) once the payment clears.
