Catering Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
- Executes events as needed, ensuring the high-profile customer is satisfied
- Leads daily operations of the catering team
- Ensures all safety regulations are followed
- Manages inventory and other financial statements required
- Leads pre-service meetings for all events
- Trains staff on standards and procedures
Catering Assistant Manager Requirements:
- Associates Degree (preferred) in food service or related field
- 3+ years of experience in high-volume food service
- Preferable background in upscale, catering, banquet, or resort operation
- Experience with vendor purchasing and inventory programs
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
- Able to drive a commercial truck
- Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts (typically 50 hours/week)
