As Director of Marketing & Communications, you will become a key contributor to this mission, shaping and executing marketing strategies that elevate QC+’s initiatives and partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a pioneering team, driving cultural innovation, collaborating with the creative team to deliver compelling and visually engaging messaging while amplifying engagement and commercial success across Qatar Museums, QC+ Ventures, Qatar Creates, and consultancy services. Position Overview:

The Director of Marketing & Communications drives and unifies marketing strategies across the Qatar Museums (QM) portfolio, QC+ Ventures, Qatar Creates platform, and Consultancy services. This role ensures cohesive, audience-driven marketing approaches that enhance brand visibility, foster engagement, and achieve commercial success, while supporting the launch and growth of new ventures and initiatives and overseeing all internal and external communications, including public relations, media engagement and executive communications.

The Director of Marketing and Communications will focus on corporate strategy, managing external and internal communications, overseeing campaigns, and building the company’s reputation across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership Across Pillars

  • Collaborate with multiple institutional brand managers and communications teams to design marketing strategies that reflect the unique narratives of the parent cultural authority initiatives.
  • Oversee and align marketing efforts to ensure efficiency and minimize overlap between institutional campaigns (e.g., new exhibitions) and Qatar Creates initiatives (e.g., season launches).

2. QC+ Ventures:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies for QC+ restaurants and gift shops, ensuring commercial success while upholding QC+s cultural mission.
  • Lead the strategic marketing and positioning of new ventures and initiatives, ensuring their successful launch, integration, and growth.

3. Qatar Creates Portfolio:

  • Oversee the promotion of Qatar Creates, including its master brand, seasons, memberships, festivals, fairs, and digital platforms (e.g., website, e- commerce, social media, podcasts, and periodical publications).
  • Ensure seamless integration of Qatar Creates initiatives into QC+s broader strategy, enhancing public visibility and audience engagement.

4. Consultancy Services:

  • Design tailored marketing strategies for QC+ consultancy offerings, such as visitor experience, exhibition design, cultural retail, and culinary services, positioning QC+ as a leader in cultural commerce.

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Drive integrated campaigns across all QC+ pillars, aligning efforts with
    institutional goals and audience insights.
  • Lead impactful marketing initiatives for new ventures and initiatives, ensuring their success from launch through long-term sustainability.

Collaboration and Integration

  • Act as the central connector across QC+ Specialized Teams (Marketing/Client Engagement, Audience Engagement, Digital & Amplification, Creative, and Content Production), ensuring cohesive collaboration to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Partner with senior and creative leadership to align marketing strategies with creative solutions, balancing responsibilities with 70% focused on marketing and 30% on creative integration.
  • Foster strong relationships with multiple institutional brand managers,
    communications teams, and other stakeholders to enhance coordination and operational efficiency.

Audience Engagement

  • Implement data-driven strategies to deepen audience engagement, fostering loyalty and sustained connections across all QC+ and Qatar Creates campaigns.
  • Leverage membership programs and digital platforms to enhance audience interaction and retention.
    Team and Resource Management
  • Lead the Marketing & Client Engagement team, fostering a culture of
    collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure innovative and high-quality campaign delivery.

  • Use analytics to monitor and refine campaign performance, ensuring strategies deliver measurable outcomes.

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline workflows and processes to enhance collaboration across QC+, parent organization, and Qatar Creates.
  • Ensure the successful marketing, launch, and integration of new ventures and initiatives within the QC+ commercial framework.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
  • Proven success in launching ventures, crafting impactful branding strategies, and driving revenue growth with measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with institutional brand and communications teams while leading multidisciplinary efforts.
  • Extensive expertise in digital marketing, audience engagement, and campaign analytics.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a focus on achieving strategic objectives.
  • Arabic is a plus

commercial innovation.
