About the role: As a Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the training and development of Desert Safari Guides. Your expertise will be integral in delivering high-quality training programs tailored to the desert safari experience. This role offers an opportunity to apply your extensive knowledge of training and learning development to help shape exceptional experiences for both guides and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the Country Manager regarding training initiatives.
- Develop, deliver, and monitor training programs for distinct modules within the tourism sector that are already elaborated.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external training vendors to ensure all training materials and resources are prepared and available.
- Assess training needs and design customized training solutions to address specific skill gaps and knowledge areas.
- Assist in appointing Facilitators for training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand training requirements and incorporate their feedback into program design.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and incorporate relevant changes into training materials.
- Monitor training budgets, track expenses, and report on financials related to training activities.
- Conduct post-training evaluations and gather feedback to continuously improve training programs.
- Collaborate with the team to organize the training sessions logistically and in a timely manner.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources,
Tourism Management, Training, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly within the tourism sector.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in training and development.
- Previous experience in the tourism industry is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training modules simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional Arabic is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
