Account Manager Steel Sales Expert | Chile

POSCO International Corporation, one of the world's largest steel producers (ranked 7th globally), seeks a highly experienced Account Manager with a strong background in steel product sales to drive commercial growth in Chile's steel market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies focused specifically on steel products (plates, coils, profiles, bars, etc.).
- Manage and expand the client portfolio in high-consumption sectors such as construction, mining, infrastructure, metalworking, and energy.
- Provide expert-level technical and commercial support, offering tailored steel solutions to industrial clients.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure an efficient and reliable supply chain.
- Monitor steel market trends in Chile and the region, identify business opportunities, and deliver strategic reports to management.

Required Qualifications

- University degree in International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience specifically in the steel market, preferably with producers, distributors, or importers.
Strong technical knowledge of steel products (grades, formats, applications) and a deep understanding of the Chilean market.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (Korean is a plus).

Conditions

- Independent contractor agreement (honorarium-based).
- Business expenses covered.
- Own vehicle and willingness to travel domestically and open to travel internationally.
- No employment relationship (POSCO does not have a legal entity in Chile).
