Retail Deli Manager Job Co Meath  

A leading progressive Food Retailer with a chain of forecourts across Ireland is hiring for a Deli Manager in one of their newest locations just 20 minutes drive from Blanchardstown, and 10 minutes from Ratoath direction. 
You will be responsible for leading a team of 3-4 staff within this busy deli department, mainly working early shifts, 5.30 -6am to setup the deli department for key trading times until early afternoon. 

This job is a full time position, permanent and will require a manager who has an supervising and fresh food experience and thrives on being busy, leading with a hands-on style of management, can do attitude. 
Previous experience in a busy customer facing cafe, deli or catering environment would be hugely beneficial. 

Salary will DOE, 40,000 + bonus 

The ideal candidate for this Deli Manager Job:

• Previous management experience working with fresh food, ordering stock, accountable for waste, profits and budgets, 1- 2 years Supervisor, senior deli staff member or manager will be considered.
• Excellent customer service
• Strong organisational skills, a good communicator, can work with people, and motivate teams under you
• Be able to work both in a team and on own initiative, good problem-solving abilities, thrive on pressure
• Excellent understanding of food safety and HACCP management, passing audits etc

Responsibilities for this Deli Manager Job:

• Oversee the running of a busy deli, bakery, coffee dock, kitchen area, and seating area.
• Responsible for up to 4 staff members, organising the workload, directing work, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
• Proper management of stock ordering
• Correct management of hygiene and HACCP records
• Maintaining the standards in line with company policies.
• Responsible for ensuring your team is trained to a high level following company protocol
