As part of their continued national growth and strategic expansion into the seasonal and giftware market, our client is seeking a tenacious and results-driven Retail Area Manager to join their senior leadership team. This field-based role will primarily cover the Leinster region, with responsibility for supporting and overseeing a portfolio of up to 14 retail locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities for this Retail Area Manager Job

Oversee day-to-day operations across a multi-store region, ensuring consistent performance, compliance, and excellence in execution.

Inspire, lead, and develop in-store management teams to achieve business goals and customer service excellence.

Drive sales, productivity, and profitability across all locations.

Deliver operational initiatives and support the rollout of seasonal and promotional campaigns.

Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to drive continuous improvement across stores.

Requirements for this Retail Area Manager

We are looking for a strategic, people-oriented retail leader

Proven 5 years of experience in a senior Store Manager role of a large retail enterprise, or preferably a multi-site retail management role already, within non-food, seasonal, or homeware retail sectors.

A hands-on leadership style, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Strong commercial and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, manage budgets, and drive performance.

Exceptional communication and organisational skills.

A flexible, proactive approach and a passion for retail.

A full, clean drivers licence is essential.
