Store Manager Job Mayo

Our client is a highly respected and ambitious retail group, recognised as a major player in the premium fresh food convenience industry. As an ambitious retail business, they have recently opened a new shop and plan to expand even further across the West. 

They are looking for a passionate retailer, experienced in driving sales, controlling costs, maintaining standards, someone who understands convenience retailing and fresh foods. 

This retail client is a highly progressive retail group that has a number of shops located around the country, they have won numerous national retail awards and retailer managers who have come and gone in the business, have been given a great opportunity to raise their management profile.

We are looking for someone located in the North Mayo location. 

Store Manager salary will vary DOE 40,000 -45,000 + 10,000 bonus along with other perks.

Full flexibility is required but typically early shifts.

Responsibilities for this Retail Store Manager Job:

• Ensure the site runs efficiently and smoothly.
• Ensuring the store reaches maximum profitability and achieves other financial objectives
• Ensuring your team demonstrates excellent standards in merchandising, customer service, and hygiene that reflects well on the group's reputation
• Managing all HR, H&S related queries, ensuring your retail shop is compliant with all these matters.

Requirements for this Retail Store Manager Job:

• Must be a proven and experienced retail grocery store manager or assistant manager in a similar retail food environment who is ready to step up.
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills are a must, and one must possess the ability to lead and motivate teams under them, such as deli charge hands, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors and other senior staff.
• Commercially astute, looking for opportunities to increase revenue by knowing the retail landscape, and managing costs effectively, and using your supplier network to your advantage.
• Working knowledge of Labour Law, Health & Safety regulations, HACCP, and Consumer Law
