Retail Off Licence Manager Meath 

My client a well known supermarket group who is hiring for an experienced Off Licence Supervisor or Manager who is a professional at what they do. This is a great opportunity to join a well-run supermarket group with a chain of modern stores across Leinster. A bright, vibrant shop, protected by security, spacious to drive sales through creative merchandising and enhancing promotion activity in the Off Licence department. Our client is revamping the Alcohol department and the wider store, so are seeking a driven and experienced Off Licence professional to maximaise the potential growth expected. The ideal candidate will be working in a Retail Manager or Supervisor environment, ordering stock for a busy Off Licence department currently.

The Requirements for this Retail Off Licence Manager Job:

• Previous Supervisor or Retail Manager experience within an Off Licence environment,
• Customer-facing and sales experience
• Advanced knowledge of Off Licence products, particularly wine, and basic financial acumen such as understanding cost price vs sell price, high margin products
• Extensive knowledge of Off Licence Legislation, compliance, etc
• Excellent customer service, good English, well presented and good team player

Responsibilities for this Off Licence Manager job:

• Main point of contact for Off Licence queries
• Maintaining stock level
• Following agreed planograms and displays
• Ensuring pricing and other legislation is in place and updated
• Marketing the department
• Responsible for how the department performs, in relation to sales, profit, cost and shrink results.
• Opening and closing of the department, typical starting and closing shifts will vary, but 8 am-9 am and latest shifts being 8 pm or 10 pm on occasion .
