Project Controls Specialist
Responsible for managing project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring compliance with cost management policies across all project phases. Collaborate with Project Managers and the PMO to support capital project funding, re-baselining, and monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews.
Key duties include:

Maintain accuracy of budgets, forecasts, and financial data.
- Analyze cost variances, trends, and risks; recommend corrective actions.
Allocate
and manage Estimates to Complete (ETCs), task orders, and change proposals.-
Reconcile monthly budget and cost reports; support audit readiness.
- Coordinate with scheduling teams to assess cost impacts of schedule and cash flow.
- Review and process budget transfers, contract amendments, and vendor payments.
- Generate tailored financial reports for stakeholders using tools like Proliance and Costpoint.
- Support dashboard reporting and ensure cost control data integrity.
- Participate in risk/change management meetings and support mitigation strategies.
- Assist in resource planning, financial closeouts, and data entry for project updates.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and multi-source funding compliance.
Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of experience in project controls on construction programs.
- Bachelors in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of cost/schedule management, EVM, forecasting, and risk.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), financial systems (e.g., Proliance, Costpoint).

Experience with large capital programs and educational facilities.

Advanced Excel and reporting/database tools (e.g., Data Warehouse).
Salary Package:
