IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Monterrey

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager with expertise in infrastructure and a deep understanding of the PMO (Project Management Office) methodology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects and will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

    • Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  2. PMO Methodology:

    • Implement and adhere to PMO best practices and standards.
    • Collaborate with the PMO team to ensure alignment with company-wide project management standards.
    • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and the PMO team.
  3. Stakeholder Management:

    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
    • Resolve any issues and conflicts related to the project.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of risk mitigation actions.
  5. Resource Management:

    • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT infrastructure and PMO methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of PMO methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
