Job Description: As an Airport Ground Staff, you will be responsible for assisting passengers at the airport before and after their flight. You will work closely with the airline crew and other ground staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and baggage claim areas - Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner - Check and verify travel documents, such as passports and boarding passes - Assist passengers with special needs, such as unaccompanied minors or disabled passengers - Coordinate with the airline crew to ensure timely departure and arrival of flights - Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the airport terminal - Handle and process baggage, including loading and unloading from aircraft - Provide accurate flight information to passengers and make announcements when necessary - Assist with the boarding process, including checking boarding passes and directing passengers to the correct gate - Handle cash and credit card transactions for excess baggage fees and other services - Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of passengers and airport staff - Perform other duties as assigned by the Airport Manager or Supervisor. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays - Physically fit and able to lift heavy baggage, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions - Basic computer skills and knowledge of airline reservation systems is an asset - Previous experience in the airline or hospitality industry is preferred.
