Job Overview:
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers at the airport. You will assist with check-in, boarding, and other related tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient travel experience for our customers. You will also handle any inquiries or concerns from passengers and provide timely and accurate information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters and boarding gates
- Handle ticketing and seat assignments
- Process baggage and ensure it is loaded onto the correct flights
- Answer inquiries and provide information on flight schedules, delays, and other related matters
- Assist passengers with special needs or requests
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure a seamless travel experience for customers
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe and secure airport environment
- Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on airline policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service, preferably in the airline industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of airline policies and procedures is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearance
