Key Responsibilities

Functional Strategy Formation: Lead the development and implementation of the Media and Channel Integration strategy, ensuring alignment with wider corporate strategy.

Leadership and Direction: Communicate actions needed to implement the strategy and brand plans; inspire commitment across teams.

Marketing: Oversee effective creation, implementation, and maintenance of Media and Channel Integration strategies to achieve ROI and brand presence.

Budgeting & Costing: Manage and optimise budgets to deliver against business objectives.

Brand: Ensure integration of A&G, Virseker & Partnerships media strategy with the overall brand strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement: Manage stakeholders up to C-suite level, leading engagement plans and collaboration with Marketing Managers.

Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

Contract Management: Oversee media buying and partner relationships; negotiate service-level agreements.

Continuous Improvement: Implement innovation processes and stay up to date with media market developments.

Performance Management: Lead a diverse team, set objectives, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions.

Digital Marketing Capabilities: Contribute to the digital marketing roadmap, enablement strategies, and capability building.
Education

Grade 12/ SAQA Accredited Equivalent (Essential)

Relevant 3-year Business-related degree/diploma in Commerce, Marketing, Media, or Advertising (Essential)
Experience
-
8-10 years experience in Media or Channel Strategy environment (Essential)

Experience in financial services (Advantageous)

3-4 years management experience (Essential)
