Dispatch Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- 
Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work efficiently and correctly
 - 
Check attendance of drivers and vehicle loading assistants; report absentees promptly to the Logistics Manager
 - 
Ensure all drivers, vehicle loading assistants, and yourself wear clean, undamaged protective clothing as per company policy
 - 
Assist the Logistics Manager in planning daily dispatch routes and loading activities
 - 
Source completed invoices from invoicing personnel
 - 
Ensure all routes are documented on the trip sheet allocated to each delivery route
 - 
Ensure all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy during loading
 - 
Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants follow your instructions and perform duties as per their job descriptions
 - 
Coordinate and control the loading of final orders
 - 
Check products for deviations from quality standards (e.g., labels, lot or batch numbers, and packaging) before loading
 - 
Ensure all products are correctly weighed before loading
 - 
Maintain good housekeeping practices in the dispatch area
 - 
Implement and maintain measures to reduce wastage and damage to stock during loading
 - 
Ensure that temperature controls in the dispatch area and for all products being loaded are adhered to
 - 
Train new personnel in proper loading procedures
