Product Manager
Key Performance Areas:
1. Product Strategies
- 
Define short, medium, and long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for The Companys Radio Frequency (RF) products.
 - 
Identify market needs and customer pain points via research and competitive analysis.
 - 
Understand customer needs through engagement with internal and external customers.
 - 
Create new products, product lines, and evaluate new ideas for market uptake.
 - 
Analyse product business cases (financial & strategic).
 - 
Communicate product strategy to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
 
2. Technology Research
- 
Research and analyse current and emerging technologies affecting The Companys products and strategies.
 - 
Advise stakeholders on market impacts of new and existing products.
 
3. Competitor Product, Market and Landscape Research
- 
Research competitor products (strengths, weaknesses, technical, market, and pricing comparisons).
 - 
Translate external landscape and competitor positioning into actionable internal strategies.
 
4. Product Lifecycle Management
- 
Develop product plans (roadmaps) for internal and external use.
 - 
Collaborate with engineering and operations to design and launch new products/features.
 - 
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
 - 
Define Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) across regions.
 - 
Monitor product performance (adoption, sales, technology trends); initiate improvements.
 - 
Manage product upgrades and end-of-life transitions.
 - 
Ensure compliance with regional/technology regulations.
 - 
Manage the introduction of new products.
 - 
Create and monitor short- and long-term product sales/production strategies.
 
5. Marketing
- 
Create product marketing communication objectives.
 - 
Collaborate with the marketing team on presentations and materials.
 - 
Market new and updated products to internal and external customers.
 - 
Provide product strategy inputs at trade shows, online platforms, social media, etc.
 
6. Product Training & Support
- 
Provide product overview training to sales teams (internal & external).
 - 
Host product webinars, workshops, and seminars.
 - 
Offer technical advice to customers that reflects The Companys brand.
 - 
Respond to tenders (RFx) with detailed and accurate technical input.
 
7. Administration and Reporting
- 
Complete general correspondence and administration tasks accurately and on time.
 - 
Manage email inbox and data effectively.
 - 
Maintain professional image in all communications.
 - 
Meet all reporting and feedback deadlines according to company requirements.
 - 
Adhere to departmental processes and SOPs.
 - 
Provide statistics and information as needed.

9. Qualifications & Experience
- 
B.Eng/BSc Engineering (Masters advantageous).
 - 
5-8 years experience in RF, Electronics, or related fields.
 - 
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
