SALES REPRESENTATIVE – MEDICAL DEVICES (GI / RESPIRATORY / INFECTION PREVENTION / CAPITAL EQUIPMENT)

A leading healthcare organisation is seeking multiple Sales Representatives to drive growth across specialised medical device portfolios within Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Endo Therapy, Infection Prevention, and Capital Equipment environments.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven healthcare sales professional with strong clinical engagement capability and experience working within hospital and healthcare environments.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering technical and clinical product support across assigned territories.

The role combines business development, account management, clinical support, and strategic portfolio growth within both public and private healthcare sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets across assigned product portfolios
  • Developing and executing territory sales strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Managing full capital equipment sales cycles, including:
    • Prospecting
    • Quotations
    • Negotiations
    • Closing
  • Driving cross-selling and upselling opportunities across product lines

Clinical & Technical Support

  • Providing product demonstrations, in-servicing, and training to healthcare professionals
  • Supporting clinical procedures and ensuring optimal product utilisation
  • Acting as a subject matter expert across GI, Respiratory, Endo Therapy, and Infection Prevention solutions
  • Ensuring safe and compliant use of equipment and consumables

Customer Relationship Management

  • Building and maintaining relationships with:
    • Clinicians
    • Nursing staff
    • Procurement teams
    • Hospital management
  • Developing and maintaining Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within assigned territories
  • Managing customer queries, complaints, and after-sales support
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Portfolio & Market Development

  • Promoting the full solution offering, including:
    • Capital equipment
    • Consumables
    • Service contracts
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends
  • Supporting product launches and marketing initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate pipelines, CRM data, and sales forecasts

Administration & Compliance

  • Preparing quotations, tenders, and pricing proposals
  • Managing territory reporting and market feedback
  • Supporting stock management and order processing where applicable
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and tender requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in:
    • Medical Sciences
    • Nursing
    • Biomedical Engineering
    • Sales
    • Or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in medical device sales or related healthcare environments
  • Proven track record achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working with healthcare professionals in both public and private sectors
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems and hospital procurement processes
  • Experience within:
    • Endoscopy
    • Infection prevention
    • Capital equipment
    • Medical devices
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Valid driver's licence
