General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain websites
- Ensure websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and user experience
- Responsible for the front-end and back-end development
- Collaborate with other front-end and back-end development to implement new features and improve existing ones.
- As a Web Analyst you would collaborate with the Data Analysts to analyse website performance metrics and user behaviour, monitor website traffic, track SEO performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
- Work with the marketing, designing and analytics team to design and implement landing pages
- Collaborate with the designing team to create visually appealing graphics, banners, and other design elements for websites.
- Ensure all designs are in line with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
- Responsible for project management related duties to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Collaborate with other team members, including copywriters, designers, and SEO specialists, to deliver comprehensive web solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Current Projects:
- Redesigning corporate websites for major clients to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Conducting a comprehensive SEO audit and implementing on-page and off-page optimizations for several clients.
- Creating a series of landing pages and email templates for an upcoming marketing campaign.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Web development, Graphic design, or related field.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JSE, Jason, WordPress and SEO.
- Design/Creative experience beneficial.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
