Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce degree (in Accounting or Taxation)
  • Post-graduate qualification in Taxation
  • Industry relevant experience will be an advantage.
  • At least 5 years experience in Tax

  • Tax packs preparation and review, ITR14 preparation, review and submission
  • Objections, appeals, ADR
  • VAT (ad hoc)
  • PAYE (ad hoc)
  • Customs
  • International Tax
  • Transfer pricing
  • Country-by-Country reporting
  • Controlled foreign companies and IT10B returns.
  • Mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations
  • Foreign tax credits, withholding taxes and double tax agreements.
  • Opinion writing
  • Ad hoc requests/ Special Assignments
  • Execute special tax reviews or ad hoc tax projects.
  • Assist in the performance of special reviews requested by management.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for ad hoc projects/assignments, and further present the reports to management.
  • Execute/assist in completion of all tax work in accordance with quality standards.
  • Ensure tax business is conducted in accordance with quality standards and code of ethics.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports for tax and ad hoc engagements performed.
