Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Post graduate degree in Supply Chain or Sales and Marketing as well as a commercial or management degree.
  • Valid Code EB driver's licence
  • 10 years' experience in a marketing and sales function that includes managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key/national accounts with at least 5 years in management
    role.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities:

Channel Strategy Formulation and Implementation

  • Develop and execute effective channel strategies to enhance market reach and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives.

Market and Customer Insight Maintenance

  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
  • Leverage insights to inform decision-making and drive growth.

New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with potential clients and partners.

Strategic Account Management

  • Manage existing customer accounts strategically.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Resolve issues promptly and maintain positive relationships.

Pricing Guideline Management

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Balance profitability with competitive market dynamics.
