Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Post graduate degree in Supply Chain or Sales and Marketing as well as a commercial or management degree.
- Valid Code EB driver's licence
- 10 years' experience in a marketing and sales function that includes managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key/national accounts with at least 5 years in management
role. - Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Formulation and Implementation
- Develop and execute effective channel strategies to enhance market reach and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with business objectives.
Market and Customer Insight Maintenance
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer behavior, and industry dynamics.
- Leverage insights to inform decision-making and drive growth.
New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with potential clients and partners.
Strategic Account Management
- Manage existing customer accounts strategically.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
- Resolve issues promptly and maintain positive relationships.
Pricing Guideline Management
- Develop and implement pricing strategies.
- Balance profitability with competitive market dynamics.
