Minimum Requirements:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the heavy cargo logistics industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • Extensive experience working in Angola or strong knowledge of the Angolan market and business environment.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
    • Fluent in Portuguese and English. 
    • Additional languages spoken in Angola are a plus.
    • Strong understanding of local business practices and cultural nuances.

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales Strategy Development and Execution
      • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
      • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
      • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
        • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
        • Business Development:
          • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the heavy cargo logistics sector.
          • Prepare and present compelling proposals and negotiations to secure new contracts and business deals
          • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
            • Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to ensure continuous development of team members.
            • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
            • Analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
            • Ensure all sales activities comply with local regulations and company policies.
              • Promote a culture of best practices and continuous improvement within the sales team.
