Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Own transport & Drivers license
- Diploma or Certificate in Procurement, or related field, will be advantageous
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
- Competent in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Proactive in meeting deadlines and capable of executing tasks without direct supervision
- Excellent & Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong negotiation skills and effective supplier management
Responsibilities:
- Scrutinise Group expenditures and review procurement processes & SOPs.
- The role encompasses analysing and reducing group spending, giving recommendations to BU managers and managing projects from the CEO.
- Obtaining quotes and purchasing of various items including but not limited to ad hoc requests, stationery, PPE, furniture, and assisting with travel arrangements.
- Benchmarking prices for requests from BUs.
- Reviewing & onboarding new suppliers for the Procurement Department, assisting other BUs where required.
