HR Generalist

Minimum Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related.
  • Proven experience in a Training and Development role
  • Proven experience with MerSeta & Services Seta
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver effective training programs using a variety of methods.
  • Possess the capability to operate individually or as part of a team

Responsibilities:

Training & Development

  • Develop and execute training initiatives that are in line with the company's mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customised courses.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
  • Assess the efficacy of training programs and make adjustments as required.
  • Foster and sustain connections with external training providers and vendors.
  • Keep abreast of the most recent advancements and techniques in education and training.
  • Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of training programs.
  • Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
  • Managing Skills Programmes.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain training records and reports.
