Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 
  • 5 years Management Experience in Operations 
  • Able to develop and implement logistic systems and techniques which will impact on the organization as an administration whole. 
  • Able to manage all functions of logistics in the organization. 
  • Able to determine and develop logistic strategy for entire organisation.
  • Knowledge of all functions of logistics which will impact the entire organization.
  • Knowledge of strategy pertaining to logistics. 
  • Knowledge of latest developments in the logistics field.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that debriefing and pre-briefing standards are adhered to by ensuring that the Agents / Debriefers, Drivers and all related staff perform their duties to the required standard. 
  • Maintain Branch Efficiencies by ensuring that Company Procedures are implemented and adhered to. 
  • Ensure optimized staff utilization. 
  • Take full control and responsibility of all staff and their duties. 
  • Ensure all staff follow processes and procedures. 
  • Handling operational queries and problems timeously and efficiently 
  • Ensure that Agents / Debriefers debrief thoroughly according to Debriefing Procedure
  • Ensure that Debriefers inspect vehicles thoroughly and report damages to Fleet Manager immediately. 
  • Ensure Customer service levels are met at all times.
