SysAdmin & DevOps Developer

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals with a strong SysAdmin background and Linux experience to delve into Kubernetes while contributing to various IT support activities that positively impact the organization.

Responsibilities:

Kubernetes Management:

• Ensure the Kubernetes cluster remains up to date and in optimal health.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track cluster performance and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure.

AWS Administration:

• Administer AWS resources including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, etc.
• Provide insights and generate reports on the usage of AWS resources to optimize costs and improve efficiency.

Development Support:

• Collaborate with the development team to implement monitoring solutions and automation tools for both development and hosting environments.
• Assist in the maintenance of build servers and Bitbucket pipelines to streamline the development process.

Security Implementation:

• Assist in the implementation of security best practices across the infrastructure.
• Maintain supporting infrastructure to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.

DevOps Support:

• Provide support to developers in DevOps activities such as CI/CD pipeline management, version control, and deployment strategies.
• Offer guidance and assistance in optimizing development workflows and processes.
