Sheet Metal Developer

Sheet Metal Developer - Temane, Mozambique 

(Contract position-14 Months) 

Requirements:

• Measure surfaces/objects using a tape measure or drawings/plans.
• Calculate required angles/radii of components without templates using appropriate tools (e.g., trammel points for large radius components).
• Mark measurements on sheet metal using a scriber.
• Lay out patterns/templates.
• Cut sheet metal into required shapes using a guillotine, electrical nibbler/shears, or hand-cutting tools (left and right tin snips, straight tin snips).
• Form sheet metal components using a slip roller and join different components using a lock forming machine/easy edging machine.
• Use a sheet metal hammer and rubber hammer to join different panels.
• Install vertical and horizontal seams as per specifications (distance and depth).
• Use related hand tools such as pop riveter, strapping machine, flat and star point screwdrivers, pliers, and vice grip.
