Human Capital Operations Associate - 6 Month Contract 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Diploma or Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management
  • 4+ years experience experience in human resource administration within a corporate environment, with multiple functions/operating companies
  • 2+ years experience in payroll processing
  • International exposure within the human resource environment

Responsibilities: 

  • Checking and Processing of Employee related information on Company HC Information and Payroll systems, within the prescribed timeframe, inclusive of leave, bank detail changes, new hires, resignations, deaths, retirements, etc
  • Prepare, submit and store documents as required in terms of the scope of services i.e. terminations: Certificate of Service, U19
  • Verify input in line with checklist/s and in accordance with Company HC policies and procedures
  • Distribute documentation to relevant parties; escalate any pack noncompliance to business to address
  • Organise and maintain employee records through effective document
    management, including electronic and/or paper filing systems
  • Assess, verify and process payroll input as per HCSS and IS process, in the prescribed systems within the prescribed timeframe
  • Checking of input to ensure accuracy
  • Run Payslips for checking and distribution
  • Respond to staff questions regarding HC and Payroll related items
  • Attend to requests for information, queries and changes in accordance with requests, standard operating procedures and SLAs
  • Resolve assigned queries/requests for information in accordance with HC policy and procedures e.g. leave queries, confirmation of employment, etc.
  • Interpret change requests into system based on configuration and rule sets, and advise employees and line management on the subsequent impact therein
  • Provide an HC administration service to employees, line managers and HC
  • Business Partners, to ensure information / advice is accurate, precise and timeous, as per HC policy, procedures and applicable legalisation
  • Support the delivery of HC Calendar events, as directed by HC Operations Controllers / Manager
  • Provide support for ad hoc or unscheduled projects requiring support from HCSS and IS
  • Liaise and support with Group HC Specialists in the carrying out of HC system upgrades and testing
  • Attend all meetings and training sessions
