Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) as an IT System Administrator with a focus on SAGEx3 software.
  • Proven expertise in SAGEx3 installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of SAGEx3 security principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting SAGEx3-related issues and providing user support.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Sage Certifications) will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • SAGEx3 System Management: Take ownership of the SAGEx3 system, maintaining its integrity and ensuring high availability for end-users. This includes performing installations, configurations, upgrades, testing and development.
  • User Support and Training: Provide top-tier technical support to users of the SAGEx3 system, assisting them with any issues, troubleshooting problems, and conducting training sessions to enhance their knowledge and proficiency in using the platform.
  • Security and Data Integrity: Implement robust security measures to safeguard the SAGEx3 system against potential threats. 
  • Monitor access controls, perform regular data backups, and proactively address vulnerabilities to maintain data integrity.
  • System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the SAGEx3 system's performance, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or issues that may arise. 
  • Optimize system performance to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Integration and Upgrades: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAGEx3 with other IT systems and applications. 
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes. Generate periodic reports on system performance, usage, and incident management.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with SAGEx3 vendors to report and resolve any software-related issues promptly. Keep abreast of updates and new features to leverage the latest functionalities.
  • IT Infrastructure Support: Provide general IT support to the organization as needed, collaborating with the IT team to address network, hardware, and software-related matters.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure that the SAGEx3 system adheres to relevant regulatory and compliance standards. 
  • Assist with audits and compliance assessments as required.
