Cisco ACI Engineer

Key purpose:

As a Cisco ACI Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and supporting data center networking equipment. This includes building out our internal network with new servers and routers. You will also be in charge of monitoring all the devices that make up the network to ensure they are working properly at all times. Experience deploying Cisco ACI end to end solution.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assists in defining, developing, and implementing Cisco Fabric OS (Cisco ACI) solutions.
• Collaborates with technical and non-technical users to define, test, document, and promote technology solutions for customers.
• Performs and coordinates activities associated with data center networking infrastructure.
• Creates network designs based on business requirements and customer specifications.
• Maintains documentation related to changes or enhancements to Cisco Fabric OS and the implementation of customer solutions.
• Implements and documents processes, procedures, and policies that ensure the most effective use of Cisco Fabric OS.
• Proactively identifies and resolves technical issues; analyzes, develops, and reviews technology initiatives, plans, designs, and implements project management processes.
• Reviews, integrates, and implements existing technologies to ensure continuous integration between the previous and future technology stacks.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree or relevant Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in networking technologies and at least 2 years of experience with Cisco ACI.
• CCNP DC or CCIE DC Cisco certification.
• DCNM.
• Must have experience with VMWare ESXi and vSphere.
• Experience with Linux preferred.
