Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Relevant diploma or degree
  • Outbound sales call center experience (Required)
  • SME experience or retail experience (Advantageous)

Responsibilities:

  • Invest deeply in understanding the SME market, different industries, and what challenges they typically face, what they typically take funding for, and why.
  • Understanding the Companies product offerings, how we can customise our solutions, and how we can fill gaps in funding requirements.
  • Researching each lead provided, adding research onto the CRM system, and using research to build rapport with prospects.
  • Using research, knowledge, and rapport, to uncover client funding requirements and match the Company to that requirement.
  • Work diligently through lead pipelines on CRM systems, taking care to contact each lead with the appropriate number of times (avoiding spamming).
  • Managing CRM system health, updating incorrect contact numbers, industry data, etc, and closing leads off in the correct category for correct future re-engagement. 
  • Maintain 80 calls per day in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Pre-scrub clients to ensure they pass the Company qualifying criteria.
  • Pre-approve clients for facility sizes to ensure they are truly interested in the product.
  • Collaborate with Senior funding specialists on weekly rotation to gain knowledge and support their strategy for that week.
