IT Operations Engineer

IT Operations Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 2years IT-related working experience
• Verbal and written fluency in both English and German
• Information technology qualification (advantageous but not a pre-requisite)

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support for all Company Plants
• Bethe telephone call receipt of IT issues related to production issues
• Pre-qualify IT incidents and classify additional relationships
• Fix incidents in IT systems in accordance with user manuals
• Monitor IT system error messages and process accordingly
• Provide guidance throughout the incident management processes
• Initiate the IT escalation process when required
• Process email requests
• Serve as an information channel for management and end users
• Work shifts as part ofa team providing 24x7x365 support
• IT experience delivering operations support services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
