Sales Development Manager 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12) 
  • Existing relationships in Cardiology, specifically EP or interventional cardiology
  • Electrophysiology/Cath Lab or EP/Cardiovascular Device Industry experience.
  • Maintaining at least one of the following industry certifications CEPS (IBHRE), RCES/RCIS.
  • Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and can be flexible in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a highly effective diverse sales team environment that encourages performance excellence, retains top talent and leads to personal and organisational growth embedding a Winning Spirit. 
  • Seek sales opportunities and drive business objectives.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their sales performance and clinical support contribution through co-travel, liaise with relevant stakeholders to upskill team members where required, appropriate use of sales force effectiveness methodology and to apply the performance & development process. 
  • Maximize customer case support by building sales team capability in planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Continuously assess market trends, gain market insights and share insights with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure flawless execution of strategy as developed for the BU and aligned to SF incentive.
  • Lead in commercial discussions with key decision makers in hospital and procurement to drive incremental business and collaborate with Clinical Development Manager to drive new business opportunities.
  • Build annual National Account Management plans aligned to overall strategy and manage execution.
  • Building Sales Force targets in collaboration with BU lead and Strategy and Market development to drive achievement of BU financial planning objectives and in accordance with financial planning periods.
  • Prepare annual, Quarterly, monthly and weekly sales prognosis and prepare and present monthy, qauterly and bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Manage and track financial expenses.
  • Develop and own relationships with key external stakeholders and opinion leaders
  • Take full ownership and accountability for effective account stock management and drive Clinical Sales Specialist accountability, adherence to all SOPs, quality standards and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development Manager to implement upskilling programs at both Clinical Technologist and Clinical Sales Specialist level.
  • Complete all local, virtual and regional procedure and product training requirements to be recognized as an expert specialist for BSW.
