Minimum Requirements: 

  • 4-8 years of experience
  • CompSci or CompEng degree from:
  • UCT
  • Stellenbosch (Stel)
  • Wits
  • UP
  • OR experience at a top-end employer/consultancy
  • Recent experience in architecture and technical leadership of projects within specified industries
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills for identifying and troubleshooting system and integration challenges
  • Experience with AWS:
  • Basic networking
  • Serverless or containerized applications

Responsibilities: 

  • 3 or more years of software engineering experience with commercially successful systems in:
    • Fintech
    • Payments
    • Banking
    • Messaging
    • Credit
    • E-commerce
    • Logistics
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation)
    • Proficiency in programming languages:
    • Python
    • Java
    • JavaScript
    • TypeScript
