The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions, and improving financial processes as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform daily reconciliations (bank, suppliers, and journals).

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Support stock control and cost accounting processes.

  • Help implement and refine financial workflows and reporting systems.

  • Ensure all supplier and customer data is accurate and up to date.

  • Work closely with management to deliver timely financial insights.

  • Maintain organized filing systems for all financial documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a finance or accounting support role.

  • Proficiency in Xero (essential).

  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliations).

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive, learning-oriented mindset.

  • Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or production environments is advantageous.

  • Studying toward or interested in pursuing accounting qualifications (SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA) will be beneficial.
