We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Business Unit Manager to join our team in Porto and lead one of our key operational departments. This role offers the opportunity to oversee cross-functional teams, ensure operational performance, and support transformational initiatives, all while cultivating a thriving work culture.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Champion the strategic roadmap of both our clients and internal service platform by guiding team leaders in execution and delivery.
  • Oversee operational activity performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs and service agreements.
  • Manage staffing needs including recruitment, resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity planning to meet business targets.
  • Inspire and guide your team toward high engagement, strong results, and shared goals.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive work culture based on respect, well-being, and motivational leadership.
  • Lead change management efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on innovation and operational agility.
  • Monitor business risks, promote compliance, and ensure proactive issue resolution across the unit.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Master's degree or MBA with proven experience in team leadership and operational management in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of service delivery models, KPI tracking, and budget management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and mitigate business risks.
  • Experience or knowledge of the automotive insurance industry is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in French (C1) and English (C1), and Portuguese.
  • Natural leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams and functions.
