Parts Specialist

Back Counter Part Specialist.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join this close team as a Parts Specialist. A leading company in the industry, who are committed to providing top-quality products and services to their customers.   This is a Monday to Friday shift with no weekend commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Order parts with from distributors. 
• Accurately record and maintain inventory level
• Attend to all Heavy-Duty Truck Technician's parts work orders
• Track and provide accurate estimated time of arrival for special-order parts
• Locate and build relationships with aftermarket vendors for parts 
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
• Keep the back counter and parts storage area clean and organized at all times
• Assist with year-end-physical inventory
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in computer skills
• Knowledge of heavy duty/automotive parts is a plus

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds regularly 

Estimated pay for this position range $26 to $30 an hour. Pay is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities and internal equity
