Position Title: Accountant (with US Real Estate experience)
Work Set-up: Work From Home
Salary: Php 45,000 - Php 50,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PH Time


We are looking for someone with accounting experience with a property management system in an accountant or senior accountant role. The work will support accounts payable tracking, coding and reporting, while also providing ground-floor feedback to improve a property accounting specific AI.

Business Essentials – Key Functions

Core Accounting Skills

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, and general ledger coding
  • Proficient in accounts payable (AP) processing, invoice tracking, and expense categorization
  • Skilled in transaction coding and ensuring accuracy in property-level financial data
  • Ability to interpret and reconcile financial statements and reports

Technical & Software Skills

  • Experience with property management accounting systems, such as: AppFolio, RealPage, Yardi, Entrata, MRI, Buildium, PropertyWare, ResMan, or RentManager
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable using Slack and other communication or collaboration platforms
  • Energized by working with new technologies and AI-driven tools
  • Capable of providing detailed feedback on accounting software functionality and AI workflows

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity
  • Able to identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Strong analytical thinking for evaluating transaction data and financial trends
  • Communication & Collaboration Skills
  • Effective communicator in English, both written (email, Slack) and verbal
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (accounting, product, engineering)
  • Comfortable documenting and communicating technical feedback clearly

  • Prior experience working in accounting within a property management company, particularly in the multifamily sector
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification
  • Experience with multifamily property owners or managers, such as
  • Flaherty and Collins, Peak Living, or Emerge Living


Job Requirements

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property management or real estate.
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable processing, transaction coding, and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with general ledger structures, credits and debits, and account reconciliations.
  • Experience using at least one property management accounting system (e.g., AppFolio, RealPage, Yardi, Entrata, MRI, Buildium, PropertyWare, ResMan, or RentManager).
    Technical Proficiency
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data organization).
  • Comfortable using Slack and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for communication and collaboration.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and AI-driven tools quickly.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written (email, Slack) and verbal.

  • Prior experience working for a property management company (e.g., multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use).
  • Experience with multifamily property owners or managers such as Flaherty and Collins, Peak Living, Emerge Living, Link Property Management, or Halstead Management.
  • Ability to work US Eastern Time hours.
