US Accounts Payable Accountant

Position: Accounts Payable Accountant

Job Type: Full Time

Work Setup: Work from Home

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 10:00 PM – 07:00 AM PH Time Zone (Night Shift)

Holidays to follow: United States of America (US)

Salary Budget: Php 45,000.00 gross salary package

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1+ year of experience supporting a US-based business (non-negotiable).
• Experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting (junior to intermediate level).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Clear and professional communication skills, especially with international stakeholders.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup while staying collaborative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoices, bills, and expense reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Communicate and coordinate with US-based vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and workflows.
