Job Openings QA Specialist

About the job QA Specialist

We're building the logistics backbone of Iraq and the GCC — a TMS platform powering thousands of monthly shipments across hunderds merchants. We move fast, ship constantly, and need someone who can keep the bar high without slowing us down.

What you'll do

  • Own QA across the Boxy platform — web, mobile, ops dashboards, merchant portals.
  • Test manually, thoroughly, and with judgment. You'll be our last line of defense before a release hits production.
  • Run release coordination: track what's shipping, talk to engineers, write clear bug reports, follow up until things are actually fixed.
  • Build and maintain test plans, regression checklists, and a living QA knowledge base.
  • Work directly with founders, engineers, and ops — no layers, no tickets-into-a-void.
  • Over time, use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Playwright MCP, etc.) to turn your manual test flows into automated ones. We'll teach you. You don't need to come in knowing this — you just need to be the kind of person who enjoys learning it.

Who we're looking for

  • 2–4 years of hands-on QA experience across web platforms and mobile apps.
  • Strong in manual testing, regression testing, and end-to-end testing across multiple devices and browsers.
  • Comfortable jumping between admin dashboards, mobile apps (iOS + Android), and customer-facing portals in the same day.
  • You think like a project manager: organized, proactive, owns outcomes, chases loose ends.
  • You actually use AI tools day-to-day. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, v0, Lovable — whatever your stack, you should be fluent and curious. If you've never written code but you "vibe-code" small tools to make your own life easier, that's exactly the mindset we want.
  • Sharp written English. You can describe a bug so clearly that the engineer doesn't need to ask a single follow-up question.
  • Comfortable being the only QA person in the room. You set the standard.

Languages (required)

  • English — working language across the team.
  • Arabic — we operate heavily across Iraq and the GCC.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to logistics, last-mile, or COD operations.
  • Basic familiarity with Postman, Chrome DevTools, or browser-based debugging.
  • Any scripting you've picked up — not required, just a bonus.
