Role Overview:

We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee Boxy's financial operations, reporting, and planning. You will be a key member of the leadership team, ensuring financial health and supporting data-driven decision making as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate treasury management
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team on financial strategy and fundraising
• Implement and improve financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to drive growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus
• 3-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Iraqi tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is highly preferred
