Job Summary
We're looking for a high-energy Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join Boxy's growing sales team. In this role, you'll be the engine behind our merchant acquisition pipeline — identifying, qualifying, and converting high-potential leads into active Boxy merchants. You'll play a critical role in driving Boxy's top-of-funnel growth and work closely with the Account Management and Growth teams to ensure a seamless handoff.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify high-potential merchant leads across Iraq through cold calls, WhatsApp outreach, social media, marketplaces, and in-person networking
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on shipping volume, category fit, and growth potential
- Run discovery conversations to understand merchant pain points and position Boxy's value proposition effectively
- Book and hand off qualified demos and meetings to the Account Management team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM for all outreach activities, follow-ups, and pipeline stages
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly qualified lead and meeting targets
- Collaborate with the Growth team on campaigns, promotions, and market feedback loops
- Mentor junior SDR team members and help establish best practices for outreach and qualification
- Stay on top of competitor activity, pricing, and market trends to sharpen Boxy's pitch
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a similar outbound sales role
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding outbound targets
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, SaaS, or a marketplace environment is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Strong comfort with cold outreach via calls, WhatsApp, social media, and in-person
- CRM experience (any platform) is required
- Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organized with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Working Arrangements
- Office days: Sunday-Thursday, onsite at the Hay Al-Jamea office
- Work from home: Saturday
- Working hours: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
