Administrative Assistant

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rhondda Cynon Taf to assist with the appointment of an Administrative Assistant, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.35 per hour

Summary:

To contribute to the provision of high quality administrative, reception and telephony services to the Highways and Street care Services teams and to ensure an effective, efficient and responsive interface between the Group and our customers, both internal and external.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customer-focused telephony, reception, and administrative support.
  • Provide information to customers, record complaints, and book services.
  • Handle telephone enquiries in line with procedures.
  • Carry out administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, typing, data input, and mail handling.
  • Maintain stock of stationery and consumables.
  • Process payments accurately and ensure timely banking.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of administration and customer service.
  • Experience in data processing and inputting.
  • Strong IT and computer skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly.
  • High standards of customer care and service delivery.
  • Ability to comply with health & safety requirements.
