Regional Development Manager
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Regional Development Manager, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £24.24 - £32.01 per hour
Summary:
The Regional Development Manager – Fostering will lead the development, improvement and coordination of fostering services across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, supporting the delivery of high-quality, innovative and effective fostering services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of regional fostering improvements across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
- Contribute to the establishment, development and effective delivery of Foster Wales Cardiff and Foster Wales Vale of Glamorgan services.
- Establish clear priorities and improvement actions based on service needs, performance information and national priorities.
- Analyse regional fostering recruitment and performance data and translate findings into practical improvement actions.
- Use the national performance framework and key performance indicators to assess service performance and inform regional priorities.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in social care, social work, children's services, management, community development or a related discipline.
- Relevant management or leadership experience within a social care, children's services or fostering environment.
- Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to fostering, social care, service development or management.
Essentials
- Significant experience working within fostering, children's social care or a related social care environment.
- Experience of managing change within a social care or public service environment.
- Experience of managing or supervising staff and supporting their professional development

- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
