Project Supervisor - Recycling

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a Project Supervisor - Recycling, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £20.80 - £27.42 per hour

Summary:

The Project Supervisor Recycling plays a key role in supporting and coordinating the successful delivery of NLWAs contamination reduction and recycling education plan.
The role combines project supervision, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective delivery of waste reduction and recycling objectives across north London.

The postholder will supervise a team of Recycling Advisors, manage scheduling, track progress, and support the Strategy & Services Team in improving recycling participation and reducing contamination rates.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and delivery of NLWAs contamination reduction and recycling education plan.
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of Recycling Advisors, ensuring effective scheduling and delivery of daily and weekly objectives.
  • Gather, analyse, and present project data (e.g. household engagement, participation rates, contamination reports).
  • Assist in designing and delivering resident and stakeholder engagement activities and communications.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Communications, IT, Operations, Contact Centre) and external partners to achieve project milestones.
