Repairs Supervisor
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside with local authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a Repairs Supervisor on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £26.07- £34.43 per hour
Summary:
The Disrepair Works Manager is a Works Manager with strong surveying capabilities who reports directly to the Disrepair Manager. The post holder will utilize their excellent technical knowledge and inter-personal skills to ensure that planned repairs, particularly those arising from disrepair claims, are delivered to a high standard of quality. The role is focused on the practical delivery, quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and financial control of repairs carried out by contractors
Responsibilities:
- Attend sites with the contractor to scope works following the receipt of a Scott schedule.
- Conduct pre, during, and post inspections of properties to ensure quality from contractors.
- Ensure H&S procedures and policies are followed by the contractor whilst delivering the repair service
- Monitor and control compliance and quality assurance
- Authorise payments and expenditure in accordance with delegated authority.
- Use data systems to check quotes against SORS (Schedule of Rates) and approve variations
Essentials:
- Extensive experience supervising contractors for social housing
- Up-to-date understanding of health and safety responsibilities of a maintenance service
- IOSH Managing Safely
- An understanding of employment law, policies, and systems such as H&S and QA systems

- This role requires Basic DBS
