Rate of Pay: £14.93- £19.62 per hour

Summary:

The purpose of the role is to deliver an innovative, efficient, and flexible service that is customer-focused, compliant, and sustains high levels of excellence and quality. This position supports the organisation's objective of being a leader in providing excellent maintenance services to its tenants and external customers. This is a hands-on technical role, responsible for plumbing and multi-trade works, ensuring compliance, value for money, and high safety standards

Responsibilities:

• Carry out the design, installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair work for the Associations housing stock and external customers in accordance with agreed targets and procedures
• Service, maintain, repair, and fault-find hot and cold water systems. Carry out minor heating works such as alterations to gas pipework and connections, ensuring services are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
• Co-ordinate the services of other trades and work with colleagues, contractors, and partners to ensure a seamless and excellent service to customers.
• Complete and return documentation within agreed timescales, updating and maintaining manual and computerised records
• Understand responsibilities under Health & Safety legislation, ensuring all activities are discharged in a safe manner, minimizing risk at all times

Essentials:

• NVQ or equivalent qualification in plumbing
• Demonstrable recent experience of undertaking multi-trade works (e.g., joinery, plastering, tiling, painting)
• Understanding and experience of working to current Health and Safety requirements.
• A valid driving licence
