Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HGV Driver to join our Waste Services team. Working alongside a loader, you will be responsible for completing scheduled waste collections safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to assist with loading duties when required.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate a dustcart safely and efficiently.
• Complete scheduled waste collection rounds in line with daily routes.
• Assist with loading and collection duties alongside the loader.
• Plan and manage collection routes to ensure all scheduled collections are completed.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.

Essentials:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous dustcart driving experience, preferably within a Local Authority or Waste Services environment.
• Willingness to assist with loading duties.
